Call for Papers: VFAST Transactions on Islamic Research

The VFAST Transactions on Islamic Research is a peer-reviewed, open-access (HEC Recognized in Category Y) journal that publishes high-quality research on all aspects of Islamic studies. The journal is particularly interested in papers that address emerging issues in Islamic thought and practice, as well as papers that offer new perspectives on traditional Islamic scholarship.

We invite submissions from scholars of all disciplines, including but not limited to:

  • Islamic theology
  • Islamic law
  • Islamic history
  • Islamic philosophy
  • Islamic ethics
  • Islamic mysticism
  • Islamic art and architecture
  • Islamic literature and languages
  • Islamic education
  • Islamic economics
  • Islamic politics
  • Islamic culture and society

Submissions should be original, unpublished work and should be no more than 8,000 words in length. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by two experts in the field.
