Publication Frequency

Since its inception in 2013, VFAST Transactions on Islamic Research has evolved its publication frequency to better serve the academic community:​

• 2013–2020: The journal published one issue annually, focusing on foundational research in Islamic studies.​

• 2021–2022: Responding to increased scholarly contributions, the journal expanded to four issues per year, corresponding to the quarters: January–March, April–June, July–September, and October–December.​

• 2023 onward: To align with strategic objectives and ensure rigorous peer-review processes, the journal adjusted to a biannual publication schedule, releasing issues in January–June and July–December.​

This progression reflects the journal's commitment to maintaining high academic standards while accommodating the growing interest and research output in the field of Islamic studies.
