An analytical study and contemporary significance of the Sira’h Traditions and Narrations related to the Ghazwa-e-Ahdhab in Tafsir Fahm-ul-Quran

Abstract

The Qura’an is the Noble book of Almighty Allah (SWT) for Muslims, revealed in stages to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) over 23 years. Various scholars have written Commentaries and Exegesis (Tafasir) of the Noble Qura’n in different times, languages and styles for better understanding of this great book. They have discussed the teachings, orders, events,, beliefs and other issues within the Qur'an in their own commentaries. In this connection Mian Muhammad Jameel (Birth: 1947) has also written Tafsir Fahm-ul-Quran in Urdu. Its fourth edition was published in 6 Volumes by Abu Hurairah Academy, Lahore in May 2014. The current paper is related to the Qura’nic Sirah in which the traditions and narrations mentioned by the Mian Muhammad Jameel in Tafsir Fahma-ul-Qura’n about Ghazwa-e-Ahdhab are being thoroughly analysed in a scholarly way. Beside this the Contemporay significance of these narrations and traditions is also part of the discussion.
