A Review of the Role of Women in family affairs to establish a Prosperous and Peaceful Society in Light of the Teachings of Prohphet S.A.W

Abstract

Gender equality is regarded as a vital factor in shaping the overall wellbeing and growth of nation, country and society. A society consists of both male and female, where every person has the right to make decisions about well being, family and future. Family notions are regarded as the basic units for the establishment of prosperous society. A family with a stronger and better foundation will eventually lead to a successful society. If the women are given rights in decision making and give importance their suggestions in the light of the teachings of Islam, will eventually leads to a prosperous and peaceful sciety. In this regards we have the sambolic women persnaties in Islamic history for example Hazrat khadija, Hazrat Fatima, Hazrat um-e-Kalsoom, H azrat Aysha, we can follow them.
