A critical study of Imam Ghazali Tafseer,s“Bahrulmuabbah fi asrar-el-lmuwaddah”
Abstract
Imam Ghazali (died 505 AH) is one of those eminent Muslim Scholar of the 5th century who made tremendous contribution towards expounding and elucidating Islamic Thought and Philosophy . Imam Ghazali was a Hugh caliber intellectual person. He was himself a Shafi, but he has on various occasions opposed and criticized the shafi tradition. This article is composed of 18 pages.The first pages show the biography of imam Ghazali and his religious and intellectual services. The Tafseer has also been introduced in detail, its merits and demerits. The author has deftly explained the various events of sorrah yousaf. There are great glimpses of sophistic dedactism on various and different places . A critical study of أسرارالمؤدة فی تفسیرسورۃ یُوسُف " " بحرالمحبة في In this article the author has beautifully given a comprehensive and to the point translation of Imam Ghazali and his religious and intellectual services. The article has also encompassed the various merits and demerits of tafseer.The author has also given an attractive description of the value ,need and importance of Tafseer.
