An analytical study of Criticism on Islam, Quran and prophet of islam by an Egyptian priest "Zakriya Butrus"

Abstract

Islam is an eternal religion and it's marvel is, that it's sources will be safe till doomsday. Whosoever studies islam wholeheartedly, will embrace it. Other opponents of islam in general and Christians in particular are against this acceptance of Islam. Because of this they constantly criticize Quran, Islam and prophet of Islam in different ways. Zakriya Butrus is one of them who is a coptic priest. He is still alive. Zakriya Butrus represents Islam and Christianity comparatively and criticizes Islam in a prejudiced and narrow minded way. For this, Zakriya Butrus uses two kinds of sources from Islamic literature. (1) He selects unauthentic book, So that he shows it as collective viewpoint of Muslims scholars to weaken the Islamic representation. (2) He gives priority to secondary sources upon primary sources in every subject, so that the reader takes secondary sources for primary sources and his mind becomes full of doubts.This Article is an analytical and epistemic study of those objections. This study will give a foundation to scholars to work on this subject in a detailed and critical manner, and to answer the questions of Christians in a scientific way and to make the muslim Ummah safe from these misleading ideologies.
