Abstract

Arabic has a great influence on other languages, especially in those countries dominated by Islamic powers. Arabic is a major source of vocabulary for languages as diverse as ever like Kurdish, Persian, Pashto, Urdu, Punjabi, Portuguese, Sindhi, Spanish, Turkish, Hindi, Somali, Malaya and Indonesian. Similarly on other languages where these are spoken i.e the Arabic word for book “Kitab”, “Salat” used in most of the languages.
