National Integration: A Scholarly Approach in the light of Quran & Sunnah
Abstract
Allah Has descended man on this earth with a very systematic and guided way to live and run the business of life. This purpose could not be achieved without a proper guide and hence Allah Has sent different prophets on this earth to guide man and has been instructed to follow the guidelines of the prophets in order to live a successful life. This following basically requires man to hold a kind of integrity and unity and Quran clearly instructs man to do so if he wants to be successful. Quran is full of such verses in which man has been instructed to hold on to the unity and integrity and theses verses are vigorously supplemented by Ahadith as well. Hence shows how important it is for man as a vice-regent of Allah on this earth to hold unity and integrity. Of course, that does not mean there is no room for dissent but within the limit and that of scholarship which is in fact beauty of Islam. The difference of opinion allowed and appreciated is meant for the progress only not for the enmity purposes. Hence throughout the history it can be noted that all of the prophet’s preached to their nation to be united and do not fall prey to the divisions on any basis. To conclude it can be said in order to be successful in both in this world and life hereafter one has to hold to the teachings of Quran and Sunnah about the unity and integrity and has to refrain from all kinds of divisions which are prohibited by both.
