Unity of the Ummah - Obstacles and Solutions
Abstract
To bring about the unity and creations within Muslim Ummah, Quran and Sunnah are the only two ways to be followed as Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) started his prophetic mission via them, and subsequently, scattered tribes embroidered with silk of guidance, like a bright jewel in the ring. First, to shut the door of sectarianism, all the mosques and religious institutes must be governed by the Auqaf department in order to accumulate erudite people. Non-serious individuals usually fan the sectarian fire in random mosques and irregular institutes. Second, "The Council of Islamic Ideology" must be established on the international level in order to accumulate different Islamic schools of thought in which they ought to research and compose Islamic postulates rather than subsidiaries. In addition, they have to be responsible for advertising and implementing it as well. Third, political movements must be run under the auspices of Islam so that all parties can be on the same page regarding religious issues. But the right to gain support for their political manifestos. They deserve it only in the field of welfare. Fourth, to preserve the rights of all Muslims, an "International Council of Islamic Politics" must exist. Fifth, an "International Islamic Military" must be formed in the pattern of western NATO forces, who should work under the authority of the "International Council of Islamic Politics". These aforementioned five points can create real unity within the Muslim Ummah.
