Azad Jammu and Kashmir are the northern part of Pakistan. It has separate identity due to its controversial territory. The political and electoral system in AJK is seems too depended on Pakistan Federal government. It is worthy to realize that Kashmir has its local political parties but people do not relay on them for their future till insurgency ends in Jummu Kashmir. The AJK has its own government, prime minister, and administrative apparatus, yet it is based on Pakistani interests. The All-Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference (AJKMC) plays an important role in Azad Kashmir's political system, especially as its core representative. AJKPML-N and AJKPPP and now AJKPTI respectively with the Pakistan’s federal government governs on the throne. Raja Farooq Haider, Sardar Attique Ahmad Khan and Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan are the most well-known political personalities of this era. Kashmir wanted to be a separate state but with the aid of Pakistan and she admires the stance of Pakistan against India.
