Abstract

Teaching paragraph is the first step towards improving EFL college student's ability of mastering the writing skills. A paragraph is a series of well-formed sentence that develop an idea usually stated in a general form in one sentence called the topic sentence.. College students face difficulties in mastering the writing skills for improving their level of writing a paragraph .so, brainstorming is a technique that articulate students to write freely on any topic and instill in them knowledge and confidence for mastering various writing skills. The teacher continuous stimulation and encouragement assist students to prudence flow of ideas in the form well-formed sentences including some novelty ones. The re- fore , the teacher helps students in the selection and use of words with well-formed sentences relevant to the topic sentence .On the other hand, students are encouraged to produce novelty ideas concerning the major and minor support sentence
